Karen People:
They never have their own land.
They never stand proudly as a country possessor.
They never really fight for their right.
They never ask for any requestion for their lives.
They never be ambitious.
And they never highly aspire.
They are always hamble.
They alway quietly smile.
They sometimes choose to flee instead to fight.
They don't react.
They are friendly for all.
Sometimes they never deny even a harmful desirability.

In Burma now, there is one state called Kayin state, it's been a land of Karen for so long time.
Burma, after free from the command of an empire of the Kingdom of England, there were many difficulties and violences happened. The violence among many hill tribes with Burmese sodier was one and important difficulty happened. Karen was one of the hill tribes who fought for their unity, land and freedom that time.
But the dream and wish never come true up to now.
The
morning light of a freedom never be appeared.
Some died. Some was left and forgotten.
Some escaped to Thailand and some became the prisoners.
After the violences between Burmese Sodier and the hill tribes in Burma, some of Karen people escaped the poverty and violence to Thailand. Therefore, many problems were happened at the border between Thailand and Burma. There were many groups of private and charitable organization saw these problems and tried solving it. But, the problems don't be solved up to now.
The violences were run every years in where it has been happened.
They who lived in Burma must be just the minor people in that country.
And they who escaped to other country must accept their sorrowful destiny. It is so really awful.

Karen people walk their lives along the natural rules, respecting them, the nature.
They live with the tree, forest and wild animals but the tree, forest and wild animals never be killed.
They believe in the spiritual way of the nature.
They cared of all beings-tree, river, wild animal, rice, sky, wind, and even earth.
They are quite conservative and out-of-dated.
Most are Buddhist and also being a good Buddhist.
They can understand well both Dharma and the natural rules.
They maybe like an ancient temple in the middle of the new technology city.
It could be said, "Karen are the people of the nature" They just be born, grown up and died-
no collection, no creation, no invasion and no killing.
If the nature can choose which kind of people it need to be with. Maybe Karen are really chosen the first.
Most of Karen people now live In Burma and some in Thailand and other country. They are just the minority of the coutry.
Karen living in Thailand, most are in northern and western. In Sangkhlaburi district Kanchanaburi, They are most Thai nationality.
They've been Thai, because they migrated to Sangkhlaburi when Sangkhlaburi has nothing besides virgin and wild forest.
They now most are poor farmer, labor.
Just cultivate and plant.
Love to be solitary and peaceful but friendly.

We, Karen, kwow who we are.
But, we don't kwow where we go.
It seems no where we can stand.
Just don't cry.
smile and try.
We like the dust which is nothing worth.
Cuz, we know we derive from the dust.
